Kabuli chana are large, cream-coloured chickpeas with a thin skin, grown in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and other states. They are traded by size (for example 8 mm to 12 mm) or count per ounce (such as 42–44 or 58–60), with limits for moisture, damaged and split seeds.
