How grains are specified

  • Moisture — usually 12–14% maximum, depending on the grain
  • Foreign matter — dust, stones, chaff and other seeds
  • Damaged, broken and weevilled grains
  • Aflatoxin and pesticide residues — checked against the importing market's limits

Which grains do you supply?

Maize, sorghum (jowar), pearl millet (bajra), finger millet (ragi) and barley. Each has its own page with typical specifications, packing and minimum order.

Are millets gluten-free?

Yes — sorghum, pearl millet and finger millet contain no gluten. For gluten-free labelling, cross-contact limits are agreed in the specification.

How are grains packed and shipped?

Usually in 50 kg PP or jute bags, or in bulk, by container. The minimum order is normally one 20 ft container.

Can I get a sample?
