Indian yellow maize (corn) is a major feed grain, grown in both the kharif (monsoon) and rabi (winter) seasons in states such as Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Telangana and Maharashtra. It is bought mainly by poultry and cattle feed mills, starch manufacturers and food processors.
Maize is traded on moisture, foreign matter, broken and damaged grains and aflatoxin, which is checked against the limit of the importing market.
When you request a quote, mention the grade or use (feed, starch or food), moisture and aflatoxin limits, packing, quantity and destination port.
