De-icing salt (road salt) is coarse sodium chloride spread on roads, car parks and walkways to melt ice and snow and to stop it bonding to the surface. Salt brine stays liquid well below 0 °C, which is why it remains the most widely used de-icer.
It is screened to a grain-size range suited to spreaders and can be supplied with an anti-caking agent so stockpiles stay free-flowing.
When you request a quote, mention the grain-size range, minimum NaCl content, anti-caking requirement, bulk or bagged supply, quantity and destination port.
