Edible salt is sodium chloride refined for human consumption. Gujarat produces most of India's salt, from sea brine on the coasts of Kutch, Saurashtra and Bhavnagar, which is washed, refined and dried into a clean, white, free-flowing salt.
It is supplied iodised — at the iodine level required by the destination market — or non-iodised for food processing, and in grain sizes from fine table salt to coarser grades.
When you request a quote, mention iodised or non-iodised, the iodine level, grain size, any anti-caking agent requirement, packing (retail pouches or bags), quantity and destination port.
